Facilitator sign-in

Use your trainer code, or the owner passcode.

Start a new session

Each session has its own join code, people, board, chat and reveal settings. Learners join with the code; nothing is shared between sessions except Shodan’s saved results.

You have no templates yet. Create a session, set it up, then choose “Save as a template”.

Activities for this session

Tick the activities this session uses; only those are listed in your console (you can switch to “All activities”). Then choose which of them learners can see from the start – you can reveal the others later with one click. Chat and the whiteboard are on by default. You can change this, or add days, at any time once the session is open.

    Session templates

A template remembers a session’s tools, length and course. Share one to let other trainers use it.

      Trainer resources

Slides and guides for trainers only. Download them here or from inside a session.

      Trainers

Each trainer signs in here with their own code and sees only their own sessions. You (owner) can see and end any session.

Copy this code now and send it to them privately – it can’t be shown again (you can issue a new one any time).

        Classroom tools

        Classroom plan
Seat learners on a room layout and see their names.
        Class chat
Chat with the room and moderate it.

        Whiteboard
A shared drawing board. Learners can look; they can only draw once you let them.

        Activities

        Matching game
Learners race to drag answers onto the right questions; best times make a scoreboard.
        Document copy
Show learners a saved web page or a PDF; reveal your notes when you choose.
        Case studies
Give groups of learners web pages and PDFs to study, with your notes.
        Files to download
Release tools, slides and lab guides to learners when they’re needed.
        Drag and arrange
Learners drag items onto your picture, as one class picture or a gallery.
        Picture activity
Learners tap the squares that answer your question; you see a class heat map.
        Shodan explorer
Preview results and screenshots before revealing them to the class.
        Quiz
Run a quiz from the library for this session.
        Blockchain demo
Hands-on blocks, hashes and a distributed ledger.

        End of session

First saves this session’s class chat transcript to the log bucket (if it can’t, nothing is wiped). Then logs every participant out, clears the boards and chat, and retires the join code. Other sessions are not affected. Sessions also end on their own when their set length runs out.

        Course you are teaching

Pick the course for this session and the lists of quizzes, document copies and activities show that course first (plus anything not tied to a course). You can always switch a list to “All courses” to use something from elsewhere.

            Trainer resources

            Open library

Slides and guides for trainers only – learners never see these.

            Loading…

            Break timer

Pick how long, round to the nearest 5 minutes, and learners see a full-screen clock (“Break until 10:45”). You get a presenter view for the projector.

            Task check

Start a task with a title and instructions (for example a practical lab outside this app). Learners see it in a small “Task” note on whatever page they are on, with an “I’ve finished” button; open the presenter view to show it on the projector. Run a saved task from the Task library, or type a custom one. See who has finished, then clear the ticks for the next task. The plan shows a green ✓ on each finished learner’s desk. Learners need the Classroom plan switched on.
